Professional Editorial Feedback For Your Manuscript
Book Advising, Coaching, or Brainstorming Meeting
Service: A 60-minute call (video or voice - your choice!) for brainstorming, advice, or problem-solving for your project at any stage.
Scheduling & Timeline: We’ll find a mutually agreeable time within 2 weeks of booking and upon availability.
Fee: $50. Payment due 24 hours before the scheduled meeting.
Simple Read & Editorial Letter
Service: After reading your full or partial manuscript, I provide a detailed 2-3 page editorial letter reviewing the strengths and pain points of the manuscripts, and providing specific suggestions for revision. Romance feedback will focus on plot, pacing, and characters. Nonfiction feedback will focus on structure, content, and voice.
Scheduling & Timeline: Scheduled in advance based on availability. Letters returned 7-10 days after receiving your manuscript.
Fee: $200 for manuscripts up to 80K words. $350 for manuscripts between 90-100k words.
Manuscript Assessment & Editorial Letter
Service: After reading your full or partial manuscript, I provide in-line notes and a detailed 2-3 page editorial letter analyzing the manuscript. The letter will address the strengths and pain points of the manuscripts, and providing specific suggestions for revision. Editorial letters will be organized into subsections and will contain specific, clearly organized, and actionable feedback. Romance feedback will focus on plot, pacing, and characters. Nonfiction feedback will focus on structure, content, and voice.
Scheduling & Timeline: Scheduled in advance based on availability. Edits and editorial letters will be sent within 3 weeks of receiving your manuscript.
Fee: $0.008/word
Full Developmental Edit
Service: Two rounds of critiques, each with in-line notes and a detailed 2-3 page editorial letter analyzing the manuscript. For Romance: The first round will focus on plot, pacing, and characters. The second round will address craft, language, polish, and sentence-level suggestions. For Nonfiction: Round One will focus on structure, content, and voice. Round Two will address craft, language, and sentence-level polish.
Scheduling & Timeline: Scheduled in advance based on availability. Edits and editorial letters will be sent within 3 weeks of receiving your manuscript.
Fee: $0.018 per word ($0.008/word for first round; $0.010 for second round)
Pure Proofreading
Service: No-nonsense line editing for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Scheduling & Timeline: Scheduled in advance based on availability. Edits sent within 2 weeks of receiving your manuscript.
Fee: $0.12 per word

Content Notes
Although my focus is romance and creative nonfiction, I'm passionate and have experience with many genres. Contact me if you would like to discuss a diverse project.
Please note, I do not provide the following services: copyediting, sensitivity reads, or query critiques. All in-line manuscript notes are from my perspective as a developmental editor.
New clients:
I might request a sample (10 pages) of your manuscript prior to booking.
You can request a small sample edit (up to 25 pages) for a fee of $75. If you choose to continue with my services, this charge will be credited towards your scheduling fee. If you’d like me to read your previous books as part of the editing package, there will be an additional reading fee of $200 per book.
Payment Information
Payment for 60-minute calls is due 24 hours before our scheduled call.
Payment Schedule for Editing Services: There is a $75 non-refundable scheduling fee that will be applied to the cost of your final editing package. Half of the remainder is due when you send your manuscript. The final amount is due upon receiving edits.
Payment Options: PayPal, Square, or Venmo.
Scheduling
All services are scheduled in advance and subject to availability.
Cancellation fee: Scheduling fees are non-refundable.
1st rescheduling: Life happens. I get it.
2nd rescheduling: $50 rescheduling fee
Expedited Deadlines or Rush Projects: You can always inquire about gaps in my schedule or request accelerated timelines for previously scheduled services. Additional fees would apply.

You acknowledge that contracting my editing services does not include promotion on this website or my social media platforms. If I ever have cause to discuss your book publicly, I may disclose that I worked on your book as an editor.
